Taoist Temple

Tourist photographing the scenery around the Taoist Temple in Cebu, the Philippines
The province (and city) of Cebu in the Philippines has a substantial Chinese community, so it is just fitting that they built a temple for workship back in 1972. The temple has become a tourist destination because it is open to worshippers and non-worshippers alike. Also, the temple is built on a hill, about 300 meters above sea level, so the view from above is spectacular.
If you are ever in Cebu, it is well worth a visit.

PFor a few seconds I felt jealous in my whole being.
Very beautiful photos of China.

Amazing place and pictures I can’t believe that is in the Philippines!
great!
What an awesome temple to be at. I would love to photograph a wedding there. I can already think of so many ideas. Thanks for the post.
Great places for vocations here, & also amazing photography!
Its always nice to be able to experience the cultures and beauty of different travel destinations. Very nice photos.
Been to the place once during my Philippine vacay. Although the place is quite far from the city, the trip was worthwhile. The temples were really great and beautiful. The place is overlooking the city and it is so peaceful.
The view from the temple is really beautiful, the cloudy skies, and unblocked view.
very nice pics of the Taoist Temple in Cebu. wish i visit there once in lifetime.
You’ve gone to Philippines! That was a great to hear! There are a lot of beautiful places in the Philippins that can serve as subject for your photos.
The place is truly nice. I find it both blessed and relaxing because of its view from the top. It looks peaceful too.
So serene. Looking at the pics, its worth a visit.
Great series of images. Temples are very decorative and a little mysterious. They look fantastic in all situations, regardless of light and weather conditions
Looks like that would be an awesome place to vacation! Nice pics! I’ve always had a thing for ancient temples, there’s something about them that just screams “take pictures of me!”
This is a nice spot to visit but there are other places that are striking as well. And this is just nearby with minimal expenses for the trip.
Very cool place and photo. The sky is amazing. Did you enhance the sky (with a filter or post photo taking? I must admit I get annoyed at how washed out the sky gets in some of my photos. I have used a filter which I think helped. But it doesn’t really fit on my current camera (it is close and I have used it). I am a bit lazy as a photographer as you may have taken from my comments.
I am planning on doing a bunch of travel the next couple years though and will likely up my photography game.
I was given the chance to visit Northern Philippines and I think you could also find Taoist Temple. The design is almost the same with that in Cebu. Anyway you’ve got nice shoot.
baby monitor
these temples look great, its no wonder people want to photograph them
