Photographing the Photographer Photographing
Last Saturday, a planking flash mob occurred at The Bean. Planking is the act of acting like a plank of wood – basically lie on the pavement facedown with your hands on your side – and remain at that position for at least three minutes or so. So about a hundred, maybe more, people at The Bean, at a given signal, just dropped to the ground and planked. After three minutes, they rose and continued on what they were doing.
The organizers think that they established some kind of world record. They are talking to the Guinness people right now.
And yes, I did plank.

I’ve been called a plank before, but never knew what planking was. Looks like fun!!!
Planking has really become viral. Even my friends are doing it when we’re hanging out. I even see other people planking on streets most of the times

Planking is getting popular. In my country- The Philippines a bill was even passed to make planking on street unlawful.

I just learned this planking and this is the funniest picture of it I have seen. Didn’t know that you had to “plank” three minutes before it is planking. Sound reasonible cause wood planks don’t move at all.
That bean is a great place to take photos I think and I guess there are a lot of pictures around the net from this planking event.
