Photographing the Photographer Photographing
The Library of Congress Flickr page has a set called “Photographer in the Picture” inspired by Flickr members who spotted photographers in many of the vintage photos that LOC posts on their Flickr stream.
The set can be viewed here: Photographer in the Picture.
The Prints & Photographs Division staff of LOC, according to their own words “had a field day looking through our digitized collections and discovering even more photographers in reflections, in shadows, and in action.”
What a great tradition to emulate!

That would be a superb idea to implement on my hometown: photograph the photographer.
I never would have thought there were enough photographers in the picture to make a full set of it. I guess this just shows what I know
