Hare Krishna

Saw them on Michigan Ave. and Jackson … I remember the days I spent time with the group in New Zealand back in the 80s. Those were the days.

Oh, here I was in the Sweetwater Festival in the Northwest Coast of New Zealand back in 1981 -

where I got marginally involved with the Hare Krishna. Their tent offered wonderful free (emphasis on free) food … so I dabbled with the religion for about six months … clean, healthy living. I even clarified my own butter.

I never heard about Hare Krishna.
They are someone new to me, I think we don’t have it here.
But it nice looking at their attire.

It’s always good to see Hare Krishna members. Thanks for sharing!
Hare Krishna of Chicago! Have seen many ISKCON temples within India but never outside the country… Many thanks for sharing these pics! I too have a few articles on the temple in my blog that I have visited during my travels. Wonderful!
