This one comes from my good friend back in the Philippines, Isidro “Dodong” Flores, Jr., who was a member of the now defunct and soon to rise again “My Islands Philippines – Re-discovering paradise through photography” site. He and his wife, Jovy, and some friends of theirs spent an afternoon in La Mesa Dam Ecopark in Fairview, Quezon City. The dam serves part of the water needs of Metro Manila, and portion of the dam was converted into a beautiful park.
More of Dodong’s photography and travels can be seen in his insightful website, The Digital Rebel.
Such lush greenery and a cornucopia of surrounding colors. Beautiful picture indeed. Thanks.
Wow, this park should be very nice to spend a Sunday with the family. Congratulations for the tip!
Philippines very natural and beautiful, would make a great location to perpetuate the memory
Hi, Mr Ken Ilio
Devote some time to visit my country Indonesia. I’m sure you’ll love
What a beautiful setting for these stunning photographs. I wish I had the opportunity to travel to the Philippines to capture some good pictures in these tropical surroundings.
I look forward to seeing some more?
I bet these images will evoke different thoughts depending on where the viewer lives. To me there are palm trees here, so it looks like these guys are on vacation. However, I imagine that someone who lives in this climate does not immediately get this sense.
A perfect way to get you a nice time during day!
