Photographing the Photographer Photographing
Photographers at The Bean during Earth Hour last night.
Earth Hour (dimming/shutting off of lights for an hour) happened last night and I went to two places in Chicago to photograph the event. First, I shot at the area near the Adler Planetarium, on the breakwaters of Solidarity Drive to have a panoramic view of the city … and then I went to Millennium Park to photograph over there.

Night pictures is what I always wanted to learn making, what I do now is a newbie trash, I have a good Nikon camera and a rather big experience, even some professional works, however, night makes me week, just don’t know why, my night images are never satisfactory

You really mean the “earth hour”…I dont see a single building with lights off. Atleast you’ve got some skills!

Those shots looks interesting. On another note, I see that there is recognizable differences between the normal night and during Earth Hour.
This year Earth Hour launched its “I Will If You Will” campaign to encourage the global community to go beyond the hour and to use the digital social media networks to encourage participation in other sustainability actions.
Still seems pretty bright
Not everybody “obeys” Earth Hour – if there’s anything to obey, just a recommendation. I was photographing here in Helsinki (Finland) and some municipality buildings lights were turned off. I also got free mittens from Earth Hour Event
