Sightseeing

The last two days we spent seeing the sights of Montreal. Our host had arranged for her friends to drive us around the Montreal that they know. It was fun.

Among the sights we saw were:

Notre Dame Basilica

Filipino tourists I met at the Notre Dame Basilica. One is a new Montreal resident while her friend is visiting from New York.

The Oratorium

and

The Cemetery

While you may think that our visit was religious in nature, it wasn’t really. It so happens that there are many Catholic churches in Montreal and since we are interested in architecture, those were the structures that we were ushered to.

Our stay in Montreal was capped by a fabulous dinner at Ella, a Greek restaurant, in the Gay Village, earlier today.
