It was the nuns who were the first group of people who militantly guarded and surrounded the military camp where Ramos and his forces were headquartered. The nuns and their friends basically surrounded the camp and gathered at the several gates of the compound and prayed to protect the camp from Marcos loyalists who might invade. They were really formidable.
