Very nice photo!
I love the turquoise in the background against the red of the fire crackers.
Nice shot of those crazy Chinese fireworks. Did you use any special tricks to capture this detail?
Awesome photo. It is really amazing how some photographs can make you feel like you are standing right there experiencing the same thing as the photographer.

A firecracker (also known as a cracker, noise maker, banger or bunger) is a small explosive device primarily designed to produce a large amount of noise, especially in the form of a loud bang; any visual effect is incidental to this goal.

In a lot of countries, including where I live now (Malaysia) firecrackers are banned. Being a chinese, I have fond memories of it’s deafening explosion and the atmosphere it creates. Your photo does capture the spirit of chinese new year! Nice.
