I just found these in my archives. Back in August of 2002, we did a road trip to the Berkshires and Upstate New York just to see the home of President Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde Park. Here are some pictures from that trip – For more information about this national historic site, please visit the website here!
And of course a visit to the Culinary Institute of America for lunch … but we didn’t have any reservations so we couldn’t get in (apparently you have to reserve months in advance – if you show up without, you just have to hope that a reservation is cancelled). We couldn’t wait so … we went instead to the famous Eveready Diner. It was a great substitute and experience in itself. The diner is not to be missed.

Stumble it!

I never knew that his wife lived in a separate house. The picture of the bedroom looks cozy and comfy. Thank you for sharing.
