From my archives. This was taken sometime in the summer of 2001. I decided to have a short vacation in Boston after attending a conference in Mt. Holyoke, MA. Did the sights including a private walking tour of MIT and Harvard by friends who are on faculty at both institutions. While roaming around the Harvard campus, we bumped into a group of Japanese tourists also roaming around. Following them was this man, not sure what or who he is but I thought he perfectly fit the description of an eccentric Harvard professor. Took a picture of him. Little did I know that I also snapped photographers in the picture.

Judging from his bag, I would venture to say that he is an artist of some kind…looks like he is drawing, as a matter of fact.
